Bolivarian Government exported 162 tons of dehydrated seaweed to Chile

A shipment of more than 162 tons of dehydrated seaweed departed from El Guamache International Port, Nuevo Esparta state, bound for Chile.

The shipment was organized by Bolivariana de Puertos S.A., the Special Economic Zone of Nueva Esparta, the Ministry of the People's Power of Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Ministry of the People's Power of Foreign Trade, Insofishing and the Government.

The head of the Nueva Esparta Special Economic Zone, Samir Al Attrach, explained that the operation reflects coordination between public bodies and companies linked to the export chain. He stressed that port activity opens the way to new markets for production generated in the region.

“This articulation between the public and private sectors allows Neo-Spartan products to enter new markets, in line with the Bolivarian Economic Agenda,” he said.

Al Attrach indicated that the actions are carried out following the guidelines of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, focused on production, supply and export in a sovereign manner, as part of the national economic strategy.
