Bolivarian Government inaugurated operating room and laboratory at the José Martí Popular Clinic in Mérida

The Bolivarian Government inaugurated the operating room and laboratory of the José Martí Clinic, located in Ejido, Campo Elías municipality.

The event was led by the governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez and the mayor Jesús Rodríguez, who emphasized that this new infrastructure has state-of-the-art medical technology to treat medium and high complexity interventions, in addition to the development of specialized diagnostic tests for the benefit of the entire population of Merida.

The state's single health authority, Moraima Salazar, indicated that the healthcare center is operating in optimal conditions. In turn, he stressed that the opening of these areas is the result of a Comprehensive Recovery Plan, which dignifies hospital care through the constant provision of supplies and equipment.

Salazar pointed out that both the operating room and the laboratory will remain operational with qualified personnel to provide free, efficient and quality care to the entire population
