As part of the work agenda carried out by the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Alfred Nazaret Ñáñez, in the Portuguese state, took a supervisory tour of the institutional nursery based in Guanare, with the purpose of evaluating the installed capacity for immediate reforestation within the framework of the Chuquisaca Plan 2026.

During the visit, Minister Alfred Nazaret Ñáñez inspected the areas of seed sorting, greenhouse, filling and storage of bags, preparation of substrates and technical offices.

This nursery has 1.7 hectares of surface dedicated to the production of plants for protective and fruit purposes, for the restoration of basins, soil recovery and the strengthening of the National Reforestation Plan.

He explained the ways in which citizens can join the Chuquisaca Plan 2026 during the summer phase, a stage for the collection and germination of seeds.

“All these seedlings that are being germinated in the Inparks nurseries are made with recycled bags, with bags that are given a second use, to be the receptacles of life, of the future forests that we are going to plant in 2026,” the authority explained.

He also invited the population to bring reusable plastic bags to national parks and Inparks headquarters across the country, thus contributing to the germination process.

“We are going to sow, we are going to defend nature, because defending nature is defending the homeland,” he insisted.

Later, Minister Ñáñez moved to the institutional nursery of Los Samanes National Park, also in Guanare, where he led an ecosocialist walk and an environmental awareness day together with public servants, brigade members and organized Popular Power, reaffirming the collective commitment to the protection of biodiversity and the ecological restoration of the country.

The Samanes National Park is characterized by its vegetation and flora, it has 10.5 hectares of natural and recreational area suitable for family enjoyment, so for the entire city of Guanare it important that the plant lung is a healthy and clean environment.
