Bolivarian Government reactivates source of the Juana La Avanzadora Redoma in Maturín

Through the Plan for the Recovery of Urban Spaces and Strengthening Public Services, the Ministry of Popular Water Power (MINNAGUAS), through HIDROVEN, successfully carried out the comprehensive rehabilitation and start-up of the fountain located in Redoma Juana La Avanzadora in the state of Monagas.

As detailed in the ministerial portfolio in a press release, the work was carried out with the participation of the People's Power Ministry team for Public Works, following a specialized technical approach that included the general maintenance of infrastructure and the optimization of hydraulic systems.

Two new horizontal pumping equipment of 30 HP and one of 15 HP were installed, which allowed the complete reactivation of the engine room; the strategic replacement of pipe sections of the closed hydraulic recirculation circuit and the reconditioning of the water intakes were carried out, ensuring an optimal and continuous flow of the fountain for the enjoyment of the town.

In the area of heritage conservation, Public Works personnel carried out deep cleaning, surface adaptation and application of paint with a special high-durability coating. These actions ensure the preservation of the structure against the elements and adorn the monument erected in homage to the heroine of Venezuelan independence.

This historic reference icon is part of the Redoma Juana La Avanzadora, a strategic road node in the capital of Monagua.
