Cabello on the dismissal of Deputy Ecarri: We are very respectful of the decisions of the AN

Regarding the dismissal of Deputy Antonio Ecarri from the presidency of the Venezuela-US Parliamentary Friendship Group, by the National Assembly (AN), the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that the Parliament has an Internal Regulation and Debate for decision-making disciplinary and restructuring of their commissions and friendship groups.

“We are very respectful of the decisions taken by the National Assembly, they make decisions constantly, there is an Internal Regulation and Debate Regulation, a code of behavior,” he said, during the usual press conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.

During his speech, Cabello recalled his career in the management of the AN to contextualize the adherence to the procedures of the legislative body, commenting that “I was in charge for four years”.

He also insisted on the importance of not giving relevance to sectors that seek to appear in the media through controversy. “There are very tight-fisted people in this world. So we avoid giving volume to what should not be given volume. The task of the National Assembly is to make decisions that, in fact, I understand that it is already taking them,” he added.
