BRICOMILES rehabilitate educational units in the state of Zulia

The Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES) are carrying out the rehabilitation of the first 38 educational facilities in the Maracaibo municipality. This was reported by the sectoral vice-president of the Social Area and Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, together with the governor of Zulia, Luis Caldera, who activated the brigades responsible for the refraction of 213 schools and high schools in the entity.

The start of the plan took place at the José Antonio Rincón National High School, in the Antonio Borjas Romero parish, where the authorities, together with the mayor of Maracaibo, Gian Carlo Di Martino, carried out a technical inspection and participated in an assembly with the Maluami Robinsoniana Commune, local press reported.

The work at this center includes the waterproofing of roofs, renovation of furniture and the delivery of equipment for the institution's dining room, such as kitchen, freezer and utensils with material that was given to them at the start of the plan.

Héctor Rodríguez reported that, in total, on a national scale, 526 schools will be recovered across the country.
