By mid-2026, users of the Caracas Metro will have internet connectivity service throughout the subway system, said Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez.

“Today we are seeing new contributions for the metro station, where we are evaluating the start of internet activity for the system,” Rodríguez said during a tour of the Zona Rental and Plaza Venezuela stations to inspect the progress of the Metro Plan It Moves With You!.

In statements collected by Radio Miraflores, he pointed out that the recovery of the underground transport system has obtained a positive and comprehensive balance over the past three years in the 48 stations of the five Metro lines.

He also highlighted the importance of new methods of automatic recharging of Single Electronic Travel System (Suve) cards, which can be carried out at any Metro station using biometric recognition and via the internet, allowing passengers to speed up their recharge to continue their journey.
