As part of the sports and recreational agenda scheduled for this Holy Week, the Government of the Capital District (GDC) invites the Caracas community to participate in the “Run 18K for Peace” race, which will take place this Saturday, April 4 at Paseo Los Próceres.

The event, organized through the Sports Secretariat of the GDC, will begin at 7:00 a.m. and seeks to promote citizen coexistence through athletics. “Under the Holy Week sun, Los Próceres becomes the epicenter of unity. It's 18 kilometers where every stride pays homage to peace,” said the governing body through its official channels.

The competition will have a wide logistical deployment to serve the following categories:

Juvenile and Free: From 16 to 29 years old.

SubMaster and Master: From 30 to over 65 years old (Categories A to F).

Functional Diversity: Categories will be included for people with motor and visual disabilities, as well as participants in wheelchairs (conventional and aerodynamic).
