The
general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado
Cabello, assured that Chavism has always been a guarantee of peace for the
country, under any circumstances.
“
We are guarantors of peace, Chavism is the guarantor of peace,” he said, stressing that sectors of the extreme right have always sought to generate violence and destabilize our nation.
In that regard, he emphasized that after the attack against the Homeland on January 3, “the greatest achievement (...) is that the country is at peace for Venezuelans and for a political leadership that has worked to keep everything in peace.”

He pointed out
that this is also possible because of the unity of the revolutionary forces and of the
conscience of the People that do not fall into lies and manipulations that only
try to divide.
“In
the face of the lies of the right, we need to be more united (...)
We have to strengthen ourselves, our discourse must always be
linked to the truth,” he said.
In addition, he reiterated that in the Revolution “there are no individual personal positions when there is the interest of a large collective because what A, B or C says cannot harm a large collective, and those who, after the kidnapping of our president Nicolás Maduro, said that they came and did not come, did not do so because they know that Chavism is a force that guarantees peace in the country under any circumstance.”

The oligarchy attacked the Commander because he gave rights to
the People
Cabello
highlighted that one of the presidents of Venezuela most attacked by
longliners and the Venezuelan oligarchy was Commander Hugo Chávez,
just for the simple fact of having given rights to the People.
“The
sin that Chávez committed for the oligarchy that ruled this country for 40 years
was to give the rights to that people, which they had never given him.
That's why they gave him a coup d'etat,” he said.
He pointed out
that in Venezuela longliners and the media were capable of
asking the Commander the worst questions, “but they met
a mixed race who knew how to answer them,” he added.
“We know them (the longliners) and the extreme right, they were bad to a people and they were bad to a people,” he said, stating that Commander Chávez was an extraordinary man with a great humanism who vindicated Venezuelans.

The extreme right has always been
irresponsible because they don't have balls
The
also sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace
stressed that the sectors of the extreme right have always been
irresponsible people who do not assume their actions, referring to the coup d'etat of April 11.
“
They have always been irresponsible because they don't have the balls to assume their positions
and they wait and are the ones who have always waited for someone else to come and do
the job for them,” he said
He recalled
that these opposition figures have never assumed that they signed the Carmona decree
or that they robbed the Cuban embassy and everything they have
done to destabilize the country since then.
He emphasized
that for that extreme right, politics has always been a business. “They are all the
same, if they have anything in common, it's that they are sovereign thieves and rascals,”
he said, referring to the fact that Leopoldo López, Julio Borges, María Corina,
will have to respond to investigations for what has been stolen.
“They are the same people who continue to promote violence in this country today (...) All their lives they will be irresponsible. My mother, with her popular wisdom, used to say: They will come to old people, but not to men, because they don't assume their responsibility,” she said.

This is a town of peace, but we're not an idiot
The revolutionary leader reaffirmed that the people
of Venezuela have always bet on peace, but they know well who are the ones
who always disguise themselves to try to divide and impose violence in the country.
“This town is one of peace, but we are
not idiots, we play idiots, I think we have even a degree, but we don't
exercise, we don't like to play the role of an idiot,” he said.
In this regard, he referred to the marches that the opposition is
now reconvening in the country. “We see things, there
they are right now because, they say no because Chavism called for a march like
us, march, we are going to march too, why can't we march too?
Do you know why they don't want to leave the same day? Because
the world compares (...) go out with your hate, disguise that as you want to
disguise it, but we know you,” he said.
He reaffirmed that the revolutionary forces “are not countermarches, we march for our reasons, and we march the day we want, because there is a need to march and we don't let ourselves be conditioned by anyone”.

The Ecclesiastical Hierarchy has alienated
people from the Catholic Church
The minister of People's Power
for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also assured that it is the total
responsibility of the church hierarchy that the Catholic
population active in its religious activities has decreased in the country.
“This is a reality, this can be
measured, how was the Catholic population in Venezuela 20 years ago, with the Catholic
population today,” he said, dismissing a statement made by Cardinal Baltazar Porras .
He also argued that this decrease
“has to do with the church hierarchy in this country. People have moved
away, it's not that people stop believing in God, they've found other ways
to communicate with God.”
In addition, he said that some people “
become Christians, others take refuge in their prayers. I know people
who get up at 2:00 in the morning to pray.”
“They (the church hierarchy) have been losing space for people like him (Porras). They are bad shepherds, well, because of people like this, the Catholic Church loses more space every day, sadly,” he said.
