The general
secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello, stressed that in the country the poor “began to be made visible with
the arrival of a man whose name is: Hugo Chávez Frías”.
During
his Con El Mazo Dando No. 562 program, he highlighted that with Chávez the poor not only
began to be made visible, “but they were given a real voice and vote and power to decide.”
For
this reason, he recalled those opposition sectors that are sold today as if they were not breaking a plate, they are the same ones that during
the Fourth Republic ignored the People for years, and accused them of a great deal
of barbarities.
“The
poor were a number, there was no name, there was no ID (...) Now they want to tell a
story now to those of us who know about history, to those of us who know how to beat
mud, they come now with their stories and now they are all holy children,” he said.
