Cabello highlights advances in judicial matters: We have been dismantling the pattern of irregularities

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the importance of judicial reform in Venezuela to correct system failures.

During her participation in the installation of the National Commission for Criminal Justice Reform, headed by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, Cabello noted that the process seeks to correct irregularities affecting the administration of justice.

“There were people who had never been to court,” he said, referring to cases of delays in judicial proceedings, so he indicated that measures have been taken to ensure compliance with the Constitution, including the review of cases and the possibility of trying in freedom when appropriate.

He reported that schemes linked to irregularities within the judicial system have been dismantled. “We have been dismantling that scheme,” he said, while indicating that officials involved in these events have been sanctioned.

Among the advances, the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace highlighted the use of electronic hearings as a tool to expedite judicial processes.
