Diosdado Cabello Rondón emphasized that on February 23, 2019, on the border with Colombia, in the state of Táchira, in the Battle of the Bridges, the extremist right was motivated by drug trafficking money, while the patriotic and revolutionary people “were moved by the libertarian spirit of Bolivar.”

“We were moved by love for the Fatherland,” he emphasized from the state of Táchira, where he led the event on the occasion of the commemoration of the 7th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bridges.

He stressed that at that time he told the governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal that, despite the difficult situation, “we need to win”

“Freddy went with the Town with the Armed Forces and the police forces,” he pointed out while considering that “many do not contemplate the greatness of that day.”

“They are colleagues who did it with such detachment that today, they still don't realize the greatness of February 23. Those who were defeated feel it,” he said.

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) specified that the extremist right is suffering from this defeat because of all the resources they invested in money, time, media, international singers from everywhere “and they stole the money from humanitarian aid, but they were defeated.”
