Cabello: In the Fourth Republic military in a left-wing party it was almost a death sentence

During his Con El Mazo Dando program , the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted the advances in the political rights of Venezuelan youth, compared to the time of the Fourth Republic where being a revolutionary militant could cost anyone their lives.

“Military here, young people in a left-wing party in Venezuela, in the 60s, 70s and 80s of the last century, it was almost a death sentence, we experienced that, and thanks to the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, our young people have not had to suffer that and go through what we went through,” said Cabello
