Cabello: Officials protected more than 13.5 million Venezuelans mobilized during Holy Week

This Monday, April 06 , the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted that the security officials who were deployed during this Holy Week 2026 protected the 13.5 million Venezuelans who mobilized during this holiday season in the country.

“I casually want to start by thanking the 229,139 officials deployed throughout the national territory (...) who took care of the more than 13.5 million Venezuelans who went out to enjoy themselves, the Venezuelans who went to the temples and the Venezuelans who stayed in their homes,” he said from the Tazón Toll during the balance sheet of Safe Holy Week 2026.

In that regard, he described the deployment of this operation as successful, in which every Venezuelan or all those citizens who required attention due to some circumstance, “there were the officials of our Armed Forces, police, Civil Protection, firefighters, CICPC and volunteers from all over the country to give him attention.”

“We have concluded a Holy Week, undoubtedly successful, very successful, where we can say that our people went out, enjoyed and returned home in peace; and the level of satisfaction of each of these men and women who took to the streets is the satisfaction of their duty,” he said, stressing that road classrooms of the National Institute of Land Transport (INTT) were also deployed during the security deployment, to explain to them to people what their behavior should be like.
