This Wednesday, October 7, during the broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, Diosdado Cabello Rondón made a public rectification with respect to statements previously read on his television space, stressing the importance of listening to the voice of the rank and file and acting with ethics and political integrity.

The revolutionary leader explained the origin of the error when he recalled that the information came from an external publication: “I want to take the opportunity to correct, I read some people who were part of a corruption network some time ago, and I named a person, and that person didn't say anything to me at the time because I read a good message that person was morally beaten.”

In that sense, Cabello specified that he was referring to the highest authority of the state mining company, claiming his trajectory and moral solvency: “Aldo Cantafio, president of Ferrominera, dear and hardworking, but they put him in a tweet from a person I don't know if they did it with the intention of causing harm, but I apologize to that person as the driver of the Mazo if I caused him any problems.”

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) ratified the commitment of the revolutionary leadership to maintain a permanent harmony with the truth and the fair assessment of the working class: “one who listens to the people and they have said that he is a worker, an honest guy”.
