Diosdado Cabello Rondón pointed out that the Anti-Hate Act followed a political and social moment that merited containing criminal attitudes and actions, and stressed that if only there was no need to criminally punish someone for expressions of hate.
“Of these expressions of hate to fascism, there is nothing,” he said and criticized the cynicism of opposition spokespersons who today reproach the Constitutional Law Against Hate, for Peaceful Coexistence, while ignoring their violent actions.
“Today those who are saying that are the same people who burned living human beings, the same people who supported the madness and put cool people in the way so that Venezuelans died, the same people who applauded when they burned down the preschool with children inside or burned down Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI). They are the same people who said 'we are going to unload the arrochera' —15 killed in one whim—, but now they are becoming the defenders of love. May God take care of that 'love' for us!” , recalled.
