Cabello on the Popular Consultation: The real strength of this lies in the communal organization

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed the strength of the communal organization for the celebration of the National Popular Consultation on July 12.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello indicated that other actors such as neighborhood associations and condominium councils will join this democratic day.

“The president in charge (Delcy Rodríguez) instructed them to participate, but the real strength of this lies in the communal organization,” emphasized the revolutionary leader, stressing that the Commune “has a very high acceptance in sectors (...) where neighborhood associations still exist.”

He stressed that these neighborhood associations “are going to migrate little by little, I have no doubts”, so he pointed out that their participation in the Consultation is a “good initiative, but the idea is that we strengthen everything that is the communal structure in the future,” he remarked.
