The plans of the extreme right to attack the headquarters of the United States embassy in Venezuela demonstrate the desperation of this political faction, which currently represents a minority among the factors that oppose the Revolutionary Government, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, he pointed out that this group, which ranges from 3% to 7% of the opposition universe, “doesn't mind hurting anyone in order to achieve their objectives.”

In this regard, he referred to the recent attempt by terrorists, linked to this radical faction, to detonate a bomb with great destructive power in Plaza Venezuela, Caracas. “Everyone involved in this case was captured and everyone is talking about their connection with the extremist groups led by Mrs. María Machado and Iván Simonovis,” he said.

In the same way, he pointed out that the complaint about these plans to attack the diplomatic headquarters were promptly informed to the United States. He also indicated that State security forces have doubled their efforts to ensure security in the said embassy.
