Cabello praises the heroic work of officials on the Caracas-La Guaira highway

During the broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the courage and commitment of security officials who risked their physical integrity to prevent a road tragedy on the Caracas-La Guaira highway.

Cabello specifically referred to the actions of two officers who intervened in a timely manner in the face of a gandola that ran out of brakes, applying critical preventive measures before the heavy-duty vehicle reached the viaduct area.

He emphasized the human quality of uniformed personnel, recalling that behind every official there is a citizen with family responsibilities who decides to put common welfare before personal risk.

“They are people who have families and are risking their own lives. Those boys exposed their lives and are happy with the work done... That's how we Venezuelans are!” , he exalted.

He urged the audience to reflect on the consequences that a lack of immediate action would have had on such a busy road. “Let's imagine the other scenario where no one attended to the man... the next thing there was the viaduct and an unrestrained gandola is taking everything it can,” he reflected.

He also took the opportunity to vindicate the work mystique of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and other security forces, rejecting opinion matrices that attempt to discredit the Venezuelan's work ethic.

He described daily deployment for the welfare of the People as a “beautiful” job and in response to criticism he added: “Are they going to call us lazy? Venezuela is like that, hardworking and supportive and that's why we won,” he said.
