During a meeting with all productive and social sectors at the headquarters of the Association of Cattle Farmers of the State of Táchira (ASOGATA), the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that there is no doubt that sanctions and unilateral coercive measures have done much harm to the country.
From the state of Tachira, in an act as part of the beginning of the pilgrimage to request the definitive cessation of the unilateral coercive measures that weigh on Venezuela, Cabello Rondón recalled that, thanks to these sanctions, during the pandemic “they did not want to sell vaccines and many people lost their families.”
“Because of the sanctions... How many hypotheses were woven about Venezuela? There were those who were betting on health chaos and the worst thing is that there were those who applauded it,” he said.
In that regard, he affirmed that the sanctions are the consequence of a great hate campaign against Venezuela, the opposite of the essence of our people. “Venezuelans are friends, supportive, we don't carry hate in our souls, they have pointed out a thousand things to us and we always have our hands out to help,” he added.
