This Wednesday, April 22, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that the Great Pilgrimage for the Lifting of Sanctions and Peace is not about carrying out acts in the country, but rather a process.
In that regard, he pointed out that the objective of the pilgrimage is that “every day people join this crusade to demand an end to sanctions for all of Venezuela and the preservation of fundamental peace.”
“We have seen the participation of people and you see faces that are not the faces you usually see in political activities,” he highlighted in his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 568.
He said that “the people have perfectly understood the damage that the sanctions have done to Venezuela, to our country, because I must remember that the discourse was that the sanctions were personal and we were being sanctioned, the sanction said that their (bank) accounts and assets were frozen abroad.”
Cabello asserted that all actions in relation to sanctions, "are a circus (...) I found out that I had assets abroad.”
