The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated this Tuesday the call to revolutionary leaders to listen to the needs of the People to solve problems in communities.
“We have bosses. Our bosses are those who are here, the women and men of the community. The people are always going to be right,” said Cabello during a visit to the Pensamiento de Chávez Commune, in the La Ranchería sector, which obtained the highest participation in the state of Mérida in the National Popular Consultation last Sunday.
He stressed that in order to take the path as political leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, it is imperative to be on the side of the people. “Those who do not want to hear the truths of the people should dedicate themselves to something else. If you decide to be a politician of the revolution, if you decide to be a functionary, a revolutionary with leadership responsibilities, you have to listen to the people. The people are wise. The people know what the path is,” he emphasized.
“The bureaucrats pass and the people stay. That's why Bolívar said he preferred the wisdom of peoples (...) Nowadays this must not only be an order, a slogan, but it must become a fundamental line of work. If we listen to the people, the Bolivarian Revolution will never be lost,” he said.
