The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that with Venezuela free of sanctions, the country will become a great power.

“Let Venezuela fly free of sanctions and we will become the greatest power in all these places. But a power not because it has weapons, but because each of its citizens can live in peace and have the minimum that a person requires: health, education, work, housing, and nothing else!” , he said during a pilgrimage event in the state of Trujillo, where he highlighted the historic strength and commitment of the Andean people.

He reiterated that the sovereignty of Venezuela must be respected and that the lifting of coercive measures will allow the full development of the country.

Cabello expressed satisfaction at having participated in the event and highlighted the cultural and human value of the region. “I am happy to be in Trujillo. If you don't know Trujillo, a Venezuelan citizen who is everywhere, you're missing out on a state steeped in history. But the best thing about Trujillo is not to go through Trujillo, it's to get off on the site and shake hands with another Trujillo, another Trujillo, because they are people with good vibes, hard work, dedication and a lot of history,” he said.

He recalled that the region was a point of moral strength at decisive moments in republican history. “I've always said it: when Father Bolivar was sad, demoralized, he came here to raise his spirits. And from here I went out to continue fighting for peace and independence,” he said.

Cabello thanked the population for their participation in the event and reiterated the meaning of the mobilization. “From here, from Trujillo, I thank you and continue with this pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions and in peace. Let them let Venezuela fly free! Venezuela flies free!” , concluded.
