This Wednesday, March 25, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that Venezuela is a Baseball Champion, with a great effort and full commitment of the members of the National League, but “the bitter ones that exude hatred in the soul” always come out.
“There are bitter people and the rest is a story. Venezuela won the Baseball World Cup. Venezuela wins thanks to the efforts of those boys who put their heart and soul together as a team,” he highlighted during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 565.
Cabello also highlighted that “when we say that Venezuela wins, we are the Chavistas, the non-Chavistas (...), everyone”.
In that sense, he stated that “the small things were done well, in the games they didn't make a mistake and an impeccable defense, extraordinary pitching and timely batting. The games that needed to be won were won.”
He stressed that “there are people who lost and are going around with regrets. Games are not a war, in games you win and you lose.”
“That's like life, it's like the ugly guy who gets up to the pretty girl,” he joked.
He commented that “the bitter ones came out to say: 'They brought the Cup to Miraflores, but no player came. '”
“No player can come (to Venezuela) because they are there (in the United States) committed to their teams,” he stressed.
