Cabello: We're Relaunching the Movement for Peace and Life

The Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, announced from the state of Anzoátegui the relaunch of the Movement for Peace and Life, aimed at strengthening crime prevention and the recovery of public spaces for the enjoyment of communities.

Cabello explained that this new phase of the movement is being carried out on instructions from the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, with the objective of integrating all preventive mechanisms into the national territory.

“We are relaunching the Movement for Peace and Life, linking it to all crime prevention procedures and mechanisms. We opened vertical gyms for the People, for young people, so that they can use them consciously and freely,” he said.

He stressed that the activation of these spaces requires a sustained maintenance policy.

“It's one thing to do the work, but if it gets damaged, it has to be repaired. And each repair must be accompanied by a maintenance brigade, because an inventory of works that need major interventions is accumulating. Prevention is also about taking care of what we have,” he said.
