Chancellor Gil received a delegation from the African Legacy Foundation

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván
Gil, received in his office this Monday a delegation from the African Legacy
Foundation (ALF), to advance cultural exchange agreements between peoples.
Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan diplomat indicated
that this organization, based in South Africa, “is dedicated to preserving and promoting
the history and knowledge of anti-colonial struggles in Africa and of African
communities around the world.”
He explained that, during the meeting, in which the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Africa, Yuri Pimentel, also
participated, both
delegations spoke “about the deep and valuable African roots in
Venezuela, which are an integral part of our culture and identity.”
In addition, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, Gil expressed Venezuela's
firm willingness “to promote cultural and
educational exchange that strengthens the bonds of friendship between our peoples.”
