El Venezuelan foreign minister, Yván Gil, recognized the fundamental role of women in all areas of the country.
A through his Telegram channel, and in commemoration of Women's Day, Gil noted that this date “calls on us to redouble our efforts for the empowerment of women in all spheres: political, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and more.”
“On this day, we pay tribute to Venezuelan working women, who are pioneers and leaders in the social transformation of their communities and the country as a whole. Their courage and dedication are fundamental to building a more just and equal future,” he wrote.
