Chancellor Yván Gil receives Austrian delegation to review economic and productive cooperation

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, received this Tuesday a delegation from Austria that is visiting Venezuela to strengthen the cooperation agenda between the two countries.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister pointed out that the representation of the European country is composed of the concurrent ambassador to Venezuela and accredited to Colombia, Gerold Vollmer; as well as the first secretary and the commercial advisor of the Austrian embassy in Colombia, Marjeta Katarina Jernej and Christina Stieber, respectively .

During the meeting, diplomatic authorities discussed the current state of relations between Caracas and Vienna, with special emphasis on the areas of economic and productive cooperation.

“We agree on the importance of focusing on moving towards a work agenda based on productive collaboration and mutual benefit for our peoples,” Gil said in his message.

Relations between Venezuela and Austria, formally established on July 28, 1947, focus on economic, energy and cultural cooperation, with a notable approach since the mid-90s .
