China will promote the use of environmentally friendly building materials

This Thursday, the Chinese authorities recently presented a plan aimed at promoting the use of environmentally friendly construction materials.

In this regard, he explained that by 2026, the sectors of the Asian giant dedicated to these materials are expected to record annual operating revenues of more than 300 billion yuan (42.2 billion dollars), according to the document published by 10 state bodies, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In this regard, the plan expects that these revenues will grow with an average of more than 10% per year between 2024 and 2026, during which period it also seeks to promote more than 30 related industrial groups .

In the same way, he specified that efforts should focus on improving production techniques, replacing traditional energy with green energy, reducing energy consumption and encouraging the recycling of resources to ensure a reduction in both pollution and carbon emissions.

According to the ministry, green building materials are characterized by their low energy consumption and low carbon emissions, as well as by their high safety, availability and recyclability.
