Members of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) were able to arrest a subject involved in the theft of strategic material from CANTV.

According to information issued by the telephone company, the procedure was carried out in the La Vega sector, the parent parish of the Trujillo municipality.

The capture allowed the recovery of 4.5 meters of copper cable, which was left under the protection of the authorities for the actions.

The case was brought to the order of the First Prosecutor's Office of the Public Prosecutor's Office with competence in matters of strategic material, which will continue investigations to determine the corresponding responsibilities.
