Coast Guard seizes more than 27 kilos of drugs in Los Roques

Officials belonging to the Coast Guard Surveillance Command seized an abandoned drug stash in the Los Roques archipelago. This is 27,760 kilograms of presumed marijuana, which were found in pots of regular size and weight.
According to spokespersons for the aforementioned security and surveillance force on the Venezuelan coast, the cargo was abandoned in a package near the Lighthouse West sector of Gran Roque Island in the Los Roques Archipelago National Park of the Francisco de Miranda Insular Territory.
The cargo consisted of 50 marijuana wrappers, weighing 27.760 kilograms.
Faced with this finding, the uniformed personnel notified the Public Prosecutor's Office .
