Colombian Foreign Minister arrived in Venezuela for the 3rd Meeting of the Neighborhood and Integration Commission

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia, Rosa Villavicencio, arrived this Thursday in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to participate in the III Meeting of the Neighborhood and Integration Commission between the two countries, which will be held in Caracas on April 23 and 24.

The New Granada diplomat was received at Simón Bolívar International Airport, in La Guaira, by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Latin America, Mauricio Rodríguez, and then moved to the Antonio José de Sucre Yellow House, in the Venezuelan capital, which will host the meeting.

The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, will lead, together with his Colombian counterpart, the installation of this 3rd Meeting of the Binational Commission, aimed at strengthening integration and peace in the region, in addition to improving economic and commercial exchange between the two nations.

During these two days of work, 11 working groups will be set up in Caracas to address the various areas of cooperation, such as cultural and educational; security and defense; trade, industry and tourism; environmental and health issues; energy and hydrocarbons; among others.
