Commander General of the Army: Today it is our turn to defend the achievements achieved with the Bolivarian Revolution

Nowadays, it is vital that Venezuelans hold on to the historical legacy of our liberators to keep our homeland alive, said the general commander of the Bolivarian Army, M/G Rubén Darío Belzares.

In his words during the events for the 205th anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo and Army Day, the senior military official stressed that more than two centuries after the independence quest, it is up to the people to emulate that action to defend the Bolivarian Revolution.

“Better times will come for our country. 205 years ago, the liberation army knew how to impose itself after long years of struggle, today it is up to us, as heirs of that glory, to defend the achievements achieved with the Bolivarian Revolution,” he emphasized.

In the same way, he stressed that the need for national union must continue to be “the cause of our efforts”, since by preserving it, we can guarantee peace and our existence as children of Bolívar.
