Commercial service suspended at Las Adjuntas station of the Los Teques Metro

The Metro Los Teques underground transportation system reported the temporary suspension of the route to Las Adjuntas station, as a result of the intense rainfall recorded this Saturday, August 22, after the passage of Tropical Wave 40.
In an official statement from the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation and the CA Metro Los Teques, it was specified that the measure will be maintained until the excess water and mud affecting the railways and tunnels of the section are cleared.
For its part, the company confirms that the commercial service operates normally on the stretch between the Independencia and Ayacucho stations.
The system management apologized for the inconvenience caused and urged users to keep an eye on official channels for future announcements about the full restoration of the service.
