Comuna Sembrando Futuro accompanies Diosdado Cabello in inspecting the Gilgod sausage plant

This Tuesday, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, visited the facilities of the Gilgod sausage company, in the state of Trujillo, accompanied by members of the Sowing Future Commune, as part of the Pilgrimage for Peace and without sanctions, which began last April 19.
The tour allowed us to monitor the joint work carried out by the private business sector with the Bolivarian Government in the area of food. During the inspection, it was highlighted that the plant has a line of 28 types of sausages that contribute directly to the strengthening of the national economy and to the supply of the region.
The sector vice-president stressed that this project is a reliable demonstration of the commitment of the local workforce and the business community to the development of the country and defined these facilities as “the productive space that has to do with the dedication, work and productive character characteristic of Venezuelans who do not stand idly by.”
He also stressed the importance of integration between popular power and productive units to ensure that benefits reach organized communities directly and placed special emphasis on the fact that the operation of this industry is an achievement achieved in the face of the external financial difficulties that the nation has recently faced.
“From the extraordinary company Gilgod, in the state of Trujillo, which starts operating today, thanks to a credit granted in the midst of a situation of siege against our country in 2024, it goes ahead together with a working people and the government to make Trujillo and Venezuela power for the world.”
The tour reaffirmed the will of the National Executive to continue promoting alliances with sectors that are committed to the growth of domestic production.
In this regard, Cabello reiterated that the consolidation of these companies within the territory is essential to achieve full food sovereignty and to definitely overcome the limitations imposed by the blockade. With the support of the Bolivarian Government and the active surveillance of the organized people, the Gilgod plant is positioned as a benchmark for Trujillo's industrial recovery, demonstrating that joint efforts are the key to projecting the nation as a productive power.
