CORPOELEC restored power supply in 7 municipalities in Mérida

After the heavy rains that have fallen in the Andean region in recent days, technical teams from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) managed to restore 100% of the electricity service in the municipalities of Pueblo Llano, Cardenal Quintero, Miranda, Rangel, Sucre Campo Elias and Libertador in the state of Mérida.
In addition, the workers of CORPOELEC are deployed in the Santos Marquina municipality, specifically in the town of Tabay, carrying out maneuvers on medium and low voltage infrastructure, to restore service to communities in the shortest possible time.
According to a press release from the electricity company, the tasks are part of the deployment of the “Andes 2025" Task Force, instructed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and which is made up of a multidisciplinary team that progressively addresses all the critical points identified after the heavy rains recorded in the area.
