The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy
Rodríguez, installed, from the state of Zulia, the national pilgrimage
for a Venezuela free of sanctions.
From the Western entity, he explained that “we are pilgrimaging through
Venezuela, no one is the owner of the pilgrimage, but the Venezuelans who love our
homeland. We are marching, walking,
singing, praying, as I said, we are talking as Venezuelans and as Venezuelans.”
In that regard, he addressed the Government of the
United States and Europe, with a cry: “Enough of sanctions for the noble Venezuelan people! Venezuela has a right, it's not a privilege, it's not
a handout we want; no, Venezuela is claiming its rights and a fundamental
right.”
He also indicated that the objective is for Venezuela to be
free of sanctions, “so that it can develop with the world in a free way,
so that it can develop without any intervention, without restriction, without
limitation.”
“Brothers, sisters, I leave it here, in the
state of Zulia, so that we can start the pilgrimage that will arrive in Caracas,
to meet the workers, to commemorate, as it deserves,
May 1, to pay homage to our workers, to thank them for giving them a hug,” he said.
