The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified her commitment to the defense of the revolutionary process, two months after the military aggression of last January 3.
“I really feel honored to be able to be here in a situation as president in charge that you know resulted from an attack on January 3. I didn't think about it, I didn't look for it and I have to be here, put on the shoes of all Venezuelans and all Venezuelan women and move this country forward,” he said during the closing of the Popular Consultation campaign on March 8.
From the El Maizal Commune, Rodríguez declared: “It's up to us, 2 months after that aggression, to be able to say here are the sons and daughters of Bolívar and Chávez, here we are defending a country project, a country project where Venezuela belongs to all our boys, our girls, our young people, women, good men, those who think of a homeland to build, never to destroy.”
In this regard, he emphasized that the Bolivarian Government will never be “on the side of the extremism that has called for invasion, that has called for the bombing of Venezuela, we will never be on the side of those who have asked for sanctions against our Homeland, we will never side with those who seek the suffering of the Venezuelan people. We are here to vindicate a historic project,” he ratified.
