Reiterating Venezuela's commitment to peace and the rejection of any war in the world, this Monday the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed that the relations of the South American nation with the United States (USA) must be based on mutual benefit and respect for international laws.

“We have (in Venezuela) a lot of material wealth but the main wealth is the spiritual wealth of our people and today we are telling the truth,” Rodríguez said, stressing that relations between Caracas and Washington “must be based on truth, must be based on mutual respect, must be based on shared benefit, must be attached to international legality.”

In this regard, from the El Araañero de Sabaneta Commune, in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, after providing an assessment of last Sunday's National Popular Consultation, Rodríguez reiterated that this is the Bolivarian Government's decalogue of international action. “We are opposed to any war, we are definitely opposed,” he emphasized.
