Delcy Rodríguez thanked the JPSUV for its solidarity and work after the double earthquake of June 24

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, expressed her gratitude to the Youth militancy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) for their outstanding performance and solidarity in the face of the double earthquake that struck the country on June 24.

“I want to thank, on behalf of Venezuela, the socialist youth who showed their best in the seismic double, the solidarity brigades that are where our people need them, in the temporary camps, on the street,” said Rodríguez, during the celebration of the 18th anniversary of the JPSUV.

Rodríguez highlighted that, despite the socio-economic and material hardships generated by external aggressions, the new generations have registered qualitative progress in their consciousness and political organization, remaining at the forefront of territorial action and community work.

“Where there is suffering, where there are challenges, you are. You have worked your way through the struggles and that will guarantee the future of Venezuela,” said the national president.

He asserted that the country's youth have experienced material and socio-economic hardships, but they have advanced tremendously in their political organization, in their political conscience, “in the toughest moments you were there at the forefront willing to give up your lives” like the generation that accompanied our José Félix Ribas in the battle of Victory.

“The JPSUV represents the guarantee of a Venezuela with great potential and deeply rooted in its Bolivarian ideals,” he said.
