President Delcy Rodríguez: Bolívar always guides us!

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Monday the importance of following the thinking of the Liberator Simon Bolivar during the celebration of the 18th anniversary of the founding of the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV).

“Without Bolivar, we are lost. On the horizon, Bolivar always guides us. We talk about that a lot in the Political High Command. In a moment of rudeness that touches us, Bolívar always has an answer and I tell them that he always shows us the road, the north, the compass,” said the president.

Rodríguez asked young socialists and Bolivarians to always search history. “That they always look for where we come from to know where we are going, that we are not lost, neither in a digital cloud nor in the stratosphere, that we are connected to reality and that it also forces us to transform the realities that need to be transformed,” he said.

He stressed that the battle for Venezuela is daily, since “it was not fought just two centuries ago, it is every day, 24 hours a day, and there must be socialist youth at the forefront, training, raising awareness in young people, who can get lost in the algorithms of social networks, in this new technological revolution,” he warned.

The President called for reaching out to the country's young people in order to create awareness in future generations without forgetting the country's history.

“When tomorrow they turn around and see their story, say: mission accomplished, Bolivar, mission accomplished, Chávez, we have fulfilled the task that history set us,” he concluded.
