Delcy Rodríguez: We hope our country will be freed from sanctions to show double-digit growth

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the country projects significant economic growth for the year 2026.
From the state of Nueva Esparta, during a tour of the Mar Caribe Group Processing Plant, the president in charge highlighted that in recent years Venezuela has shown growth, “and already in the first quarter of 2026 we are also seeing signs of significant recovery compared to 2025.”
“We have not hesitated to say that Venezuela projects growth in its gross domestic product for this year. We hope that our country will be freed from sanctions so that we can show double-digit growth for the coming years,” he emphasized.
