Deputy Infante: The Amnesty Act is within its time of application

The Special Monitoring Commission for the Amnesty Law held a meeting with authorities from the Citizens' Power and the Judiciary, in order to coordinate the organs of administration of justice for the effective application of the Law.

This was stated by Pedro Infante Aparicio, member of this commission this Friday, February 20, during his participation in the 360 program of Venezolana de Televisión, where he noted that as a first instance, they met with authorities from the Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace to evaluate the application of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence.

“The Law establishes a time, fifteen days after the interested party expresses the request for evaluation of their Amnesty case and the idea is to start as quickly as possible, so today at 12 o'clock after the president in charge enacted the Law, we already had the first working meeting,” Infante stressed.

They are also working to publicize the scope of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence, which was unanimously approved this Thursday, February 19, by the Venezuelan Parliament, after being promoted by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
