The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Pedro Infante (PSUV/Miranda), indicated that the recovery of wages and the strengthening of the private sector are directly dependent on the end of oil sanctions.
This Wednesday, since the “Great Pilgrimage United for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace”, which took place in the state of Monagas, Infante explained that, historically, the well-being of workers and the growth of private companies have been linked to the operation of Petrleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA), currently impacted by most international restrictions.
The parliamentarian recalled that the great pilgrimage is part of a series of activities that take place in different states, aimed at reaffirming the population's will for peace and their call to eliminate the more than a thousand existing coercive measures, “... so that the Venezuelan economy can fly free.”
