The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that a true revolutionary leader must follow the path marked by the authorities of the Bolivarian Revolution, on a personal path.
“You have to go the path of the Revolution, not your own path,” he said.
In that direction, he specified that at the moment he has the responsibility of being general secretary of the red awning, “this is a reality, you are in a position in a circumstantial way, I have that responsibility right now, but if someone else had it, I'm sure I would do well”.
He stressed that some leaders have an ambition for office, “For what? To fuck off, it's not good, that's not what a position is for, that's not what a responsibility is for, you have to go down the path of the Revolution.”
In this regard, Cabello, on his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 564, highlighted that in the face of the departure of Commander Hugo Chávez, and as a result of his leadership, the conscience of the Venezuelan people prevailed.
Cabello highlighted the strength of the PSUV, “we would like the left to have a strength like the PSUV in other countries of America, and we want it from the bottom of our hearts. We don't meddle in internal affairs. That is achieved with detachment and leadership.”
“It's about understanding the historic moment of what's happening,” he said.
