Diosdado Cabello: Chávez Still Protects His People

This Wednesday, February 25, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that today “Chavéz is still protecting his people.”

“When we stand together in any situation, that's Chávez,” he emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando program, where he recalled the importance of the Supreme Commander in consolidating the unity of the revolutionary forces.

“Before Chávez arrived, the left in Venezuela, what it knew how to do was to divide, it was impossible to agree. Some called Chávez a caudillo because he came to impose. It was necessary to unite! Now that someone tries to divide the people to see how lucky they are going to be, because Chávez left the foundations well founded. In the midst of this storm, we are there, and we are where we are thanks to the efforts of the Venezuelans themselves,” he said.
