Diosdado Cabello from La Guaira: The fundamental priority is to rescue everyone

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, ratified this Thursday the willingness of the Bolivarian Government to serve the areas affected by the devastating earthquakes that occurred in the country.

From the state of La Guaira, during the deployment of security agencies in the most affected areas, Cabello said that the catastrophe affected more than 70,000 families in the state.

He stressed that the most affected areas are Caraballeda and Catia la Mar, “the rest of us are affected but they are less affected than those in this sector (...) in all these cases we are faced with human drama, with the drama of the person who has pain,” he said.

In this regard, he urged the People to organize themselves, “in the communes, the structures we have, to know exactly who is missing, where they were and we can do the rescue work more precisely. The president in charge (Delcy Rodríguez) has given the order and we are complying with it, because the fundamental priority is to rescue everyone.”
