Diosdado Cabello from Trujillo: Venezuela needs us together today! (+photos)

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized the importance of revolutionary unity during a meeting with the National Directorate of the Red Awning from Trujillo state.

“What we experienced here in the month of January, what we have experienced this year, needs a united Venezuela, even beyond Chavism, to go beyond Chavism,” said Cabello.

In that sense, he highlighted the strength of what unity means, stressing that “it is not in vain that Commander Hugo Chávez came here to tell us: Unity, struggle, battle and victory; one line, one order; it is not in vain that President Nicolás Maduro called us to true unity, without groups, without anything that differentiates us”.

He stressed that the Revolution has always promoted a government that includes, despite how difficult it is because of the opposition sectors that always have an emboldened attitude.

“We know the guarimberos of Trujillo and Caracas, from all the states (...) these groups are not going to change structurally, they are going to continue aspiring to subvert order and we have to continue working to guarantee unity with organization, with organization,” he said.
