Diosdado Cabello highlighted the progress of the National Consultation for Criminal Justice Reform: Decisions are being made on the fly

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted on Monday the progress of the National Consultation for Criminal Justice Reform.

“The deployment that is taking place right now is giving me the results and it is really good, and we must also recognize that everyone is involved there, all the powers, but there are the deputies, our deputies and deputies from the opposition sectors have been joining,” Cabello said during the weekly press conference of the red awning.

He added that although “the bulk is carried by the deputies of the National Assembly, who are the ones who know the subject,” he also participates in the Office of the Ombudsman, the Attorney General's Office, the Supreme Court of Justice and the Public Defense.

He stressed that all cases are being addressed and “the good thing is that decisions are being made on the fly. Correct, for example, the flaws that a number here and a number there must all match. The file has to appear and we are not afraid of that, we have never been afraid of it and I am sure it will be a resounding success as it was the first time”.
