Diosdado Cabello: The CICPC clarified the murder of a journalist in Mérida

The
sectoral vice-president of Public Security and Peace Policy, Diosdado Cabello Rondón,
during the act of Adaptation of the Peace Quadrants of the state of Mérida, highlighted the effectiveness of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps
(CICPC).
“You can say what you want, but the CICPC
is the best body of investigations in the world,” he said while reporting
that officials of this body were recently able to clarify the murder of a journalist in
the Andean entity.
In that sense, he rejected the statements of “longliners”
surrounding this case, who asserted that the murder of the
journalism professional was the responsibility of the State.”
“If this Government is characterized by anything, it is because of its humanistic
sense. We would never harm anyone! We would never do
anything like that, that's why there was an investigation and today the investigation of
determined who was and those responsible for the act and that everyone should assume
their responsibilities,” he said.
Finally,
he specified that the security cameras installed in the streets were
essential in clarifying the fact.
